I totally get what you are saying.

We wouldn't foster/adopt teens right now. It just isn't the right timing for our family. We have littles. And it just isn't what we set out to do.

But, my heart is constantly broken for my FD's mom. She is still a teenager, too old to be in the system, but has absolutely ZERO support system. She still "has" a dad, but he isn't really around. I keep thinking that someone needs to give this poor girl a family. If/when she does get her daughter back- who is going to be FD's grandma? Who will she call when she needs some advice? Where will she go for Thanksgiving? But in bio mom's case, I'm not sure she would even want it if it were offered to her.

Sorry for the ramble. I didn't mean to hijack your thread. I hope you are able to figure out what is best for your family. I agree with the others, see if you can find out some more information about her. Maybe someone can give a little more insight into her self-described "anger".
